A self initiated exercise exploring how to frame multiple subjects within a lifestyle environment, created to develop my approach to composition and campaign led storytelling.
PURPOSE
The aim was to develop my approach to composition and visual storytelling with campaign thinking in mind.
CREATIVE APPROACH
I focused on creating natural relationships between the subjects, using composition, environment and movement to make the images feel connected. The Spec campaign was designed to feel candid and considered while still carrying a clear sense of brand direction.
EXECUTION
I directed the framing, positioning and interaction between the subjects to build cohesive compositions across the series. The imagery was shot with campaign applications in mind, balancing individual portraits with wider lifestyle moments.
OUTCOME / LEARNING
The project strengthened my confidence in directing multiple subjects within a single frame while maintaining a strong visual/Product hierarchy. It also helped develop the way i approach my campaigns as a series of connected images rather than stand alone photographs.
FOOTLOCKER FESTIVAL FITS CAMPAIGN
Festival Fits was a Foot Locker campaign created to showcase festival-ready fashion and footwear across the brand’s digital platforms. Working as 1st Assistant Director, I helped lead the on-set production, coordinating a 25-person crew and managing the flow of talent, departments and setups to bring the campaign to life.
PURPOSE
The Festival Fits campaign was created for Foot Locker to showcase festival-ready styling across its digital channels. The campaign was designed to translate the energy of festival culture into engaging fashion-led content for Foot Locker’s audience.
CREATIVE APPROACH
The production brought together multiple talents, looks and creative departments to create a cohesive campaign across a range of visual outputs. My role was to help translate the creative direction into a structured and efficient shoot environment.
EXECUTION
As 1st Assistant Director, I coordinated the movement of talent, crew and departments throughout the production, helping keep the shoot on schedule and the creative execution running smoothly. I led a team of around 25 people on set while managing transitions between setups and supporting the wider production team.
OUTCOME / LEARNING
The campaign went live across Foot Locker’s digital platforms, including its website, Instagram and LinkedIn. The project strengthened my experience leading a large-scale creative production and demonstrated my ability to balance creative requirements with the practical demands of delivering a commercial campaign.
